The annual inflation rate in Greece rose to 2.4% in November 2025, from 2% in the previous month.
This marked the highest since August, mainly driven by higher costs of food and non-alcoholic beverages (2.7% vs 2.3% in October), housing (3.7% vs 1.4%), and hotels, cafes, and restaurants (7.4% vs 6.5%).
Additionally, inflation remained steady for health (at 0.6%), transport (at 0.7%), and education (at 2.8%).
On the other hand, price growth softened for clothing and footwear (1.3% vs 1.9%), durable goods, household appliances and services (0.5% vs 0.7%), and communication (0.5% vs 0.8%).
On a monthly basis, consumer prices increased by 0.1% in November, the same pace as in the preceding period.
