Georgia Jobless Rate Drops to 13.3% in Q4

The unemployment rate in Georgia fell to 13.3% in the fourth quarter of 2025 from 14.2% in the corresponding period of the previous year.
This remains the lowest reading since the fourth quarter of 2003, as the number of unemployed persons dropped by 18.5 thousand to 215.4 thousand.
The jobless rate for women decreased to 10.3% from 11.1% in Q4 2024, while the rate for men slipped to 15.6% from 16.7%.
Meanwhile, the employment rate stood at 47.1%, unchanged from a year earlier, even as the number of employed persons declined by 10.4 thousand to 1,402.1 thousand.
The labor force participation rate decreased to 54.4% from 54.9%.
