Cyprus Industrial Output Growth Steady in June

Industrial production in Cyprus edged up 0.3% year-on-year in June 2026, unchanged from the previous month and remaining at its lowest level since February.
Manufacturing output rose 0.6% (vs 0.5% in May), driven particularly by wood and cork products, except furniture (2.3% vs 1.2%), rubber and plastic products (4.7% vs -2.4%), basic metals and fabricated metal products (2.3% vs 1.1%), and non-metallic mineral products (7.5% vs 4.9%).
Meanwhile, growth accelerated in water supply and materials recovery (1.5% vs -3.9%), as well as water collection, treatment and supply (14.2% vs 10.2%).
Electricity supply fell 4% after stagnating in the previous month, while the decline in materials recovery eased (-15.1% vs -20.7%).
In January-June, industrial output grew 1.2% compared with the corresponding period of the previous year.
