Industrial production in Cyprus rose by 3.5% year-on-year in October 2025, easing from a seven-month high of 4.7% growth in the previous month.
Output in mining and quarrying fell 1.7% compared with 0.5% increase in September, while electricity supply dropped 3.4%, down from a 5.3% rise.
At the same time, production growth slowed in the manufacturing sector (4.3% vs 4.7%), driven by lower output for textiles, wearing apparel and leather products and refined petroleum products, chemicals and chemical products and pharmaceutical products and preparations.
On the other hand, activity increased at a faster pace for water supply and materials recovery (7.4% vs 5.6%).
Considering the January to October 2025 period, industrial output was higher by 3.1% compared to the corresponding period of the previous year.
