The economy of Cyprus expanded 4.5% year-on-year in the final quarter of 2025, accelerating from a 3.6% growth in the third quarter, flash estimates showed.
This was the strongest expansion since the fourth quarter of 2022, supported by solid performance in wholesale and retail trade, repair of motor vehicles, information and communication, and hotels and restaurants.
On a quarterly basis, GDP rose by 1.4% in the fourth quarter, the highest growth since the first quarter of 2024, following a 0.9% increase in the previous period.
