Croatia Producer Prices Highest Since 2023

Croatia's producer prices rose 1.2% year-on-year in May 2025, rebounding from a 0.5% drop in the previous month.
This marked the highest reading since September 2023, driven by faster price growth for capital goods (2.5% vs 2.0% in April) and intermediate goods (1.6% vs 1.5%).
Additionally, deflation eased for energy (-0.4% vs -5.1%).
Meanwhile, inflation edged down for non-durable consumer goods (2.0% vs 2.1%) and declined for durable consumer goods (-0.1% vs 0.7%).
Excluding energy, producer prices stood at 1.8% in May, the same pace as in the prior month.
On a monthly basis, producer prices went down by 1% in May, easing from a 1.5% fall in the preceding month.
