Argentina Consumer Morale Holds Steady in June

Argentina’s consumer confidence index marginally fell to 45.48 in June 2025 from 45.49 in the previous month, the fourth highest level this year, but remaining below the 14-month high of 47.38 in January.

Optimism increased from the previous month in two of the three sub-indices, including purchase intentions for durable goods (36.61 vs.

35.34 in May), and the macroeconomic situation (53.93 vs.

52.21), while pessimism grew for assessments of personal financial situation (45.89 vs.

46.49).

From the previous year, the Consumer Confidence Index rose by 22.15%.
