Argentina Consumer Confidence Rises

Argentina’s consumer confidence index rose to 45.5 in May 2025 from 44.10 in the previous month, the third highest level this year, but remaining below the 14-month high of 47.38 in January.
Optimism increased from the previous month in all three sub-indices, including assessments of personal financial situation (46.49 vs.
45.81 in March), purchase intentions for durable goods (35.34 vs.
34.33), and the macroeconomic situation (52.21 vs.
52.20).
From the previous year, the Consumer Confidence Index rose by 18.8%.
