Seychelles GDP Growth Accelerates in Q4

The economy of Seychelles expanded 8.8% year-on-year in the fourth quarter of 2025, accelerating from a downwardly revised 4.1% growth in the previous quarter.

This marked the strongest performance since the third quarter of 2024, driven by continued expansions in information and communication (15.1% vs 14.5% in Q3) and transportation and storage (32.1% vs 25.5%), as well as sharp rebounds in administrative and support services (145% vs -7%) and accommodation and food services (8.9% vs -2.8%).

Meanwhile, output declined further in agriculture (-30.6% vs -27.6%) and wholesale and retail trade; repair of motor vehicles and motorcycles (-3.5% vs -0.4%).
