Rwanda Inflation Rate Hits 8-Month Low of 4.1%

Rwanda's overall inflation rate decelerated for the fourth month to 4.1% in October 2025, the lowest since February, compared to October's 5.1%.
The heavyweight food & non-alcoholic beverages index fell by 1.1%, marking the first decrease in a year, after a 1% rise in October, with vegetable prices dropping more sharply (-10.2% vs -7%).
In the meantime, price-growth slowed a bit for some categories, including alcoholic beverages & tobacco (14.4% vs 15%); clothing & footwear (5.3% vs 5.4%) and housing & utilities (4.5% vs 4.8%).
On a monthly basis, consumer prices edged down by 0.1% in November, after rising by 1% in the prior month.
