Paraguay Trade Gap Narrows as Exports Surge

Paraguay’s trade deficit narrowed to USD 202.67 million in November 2025 from USD 220.95 million a year earlier.
Exports jumped 23.6% to USD 1.40 billion, driven by an 18.7% rise in primary goods, a 12.6% increase in industrial products, and a 32.5% surge in fuel and energy shipments.
Imports grew 18.4% to USD 1.59 billion, with purchases of consumer goods up 15.5%, intermediate goods rising 23.4%, and capital goods advancing 19.8%.
