Namibia Inflation Rate Slows to 3.4% in November

The annual inflation rate in Namibia eased to 3.4% in November 2025 from a four-month high of 3.6% in the prior month.
Prices slowed down for some CPI categories, including food & non-alcoholic beverages (3.9% vs 4.6% in October), notably bread & cereals (0.5% vs 2.9%) and vegetables (2.8% vs 5.7%); alcoholic beverages & to bacco (3.9% vs 4.6%); hotels, cafes & restaurants (4.8% vs 5%) and recreation & culture (3.8% vs 4%), among others.
Meanwhile, inflation remained steady for education (at 4.3%) and housing & utilities (at 4.1%).
On a monthly basis, consumer prices were flat in November, after a 0.5% increase in the prior month.
