Malta Producer Prices Rise to 18-Month High

Malta’s producer prices edged up by 0.7% year-on-year in October 2025, following a 0.1% rise in the previous month.
Deflation continued for intermediate goods (-0.9% vs -2.9% in September), albeit at a slower pace.
Costs in the capital goods remained unchanged (at 5%).
Meanwhile, prices edged down for consumer goods (0.8% vs 1.2%), particularly for non-durable goods (0.9% vs 1.2%).
On a monthly basis, producer prices rose 0.4% in September, easing from a 0.6% rise in the preceding period.
