Lithuania Q2 GDP Growth Lowest in 1-1/2 Years

The economy of Lithuania expanded by 0.2% quarter-on-quarter in Q2 2025, easing from an upwardly revised 0.6% growth in the previous three-month period, according to preliminary estimates.

This marked the sixth consecutive quarter of expansion, although it was the slowest pace in the sequence, primarily driven by strong performances in wholesale and retail trade services, transport and storage, and information and communication sectors.

On a year-on-year basis, Lithuania’s GDP grew by 3.0% in Q2 2025, down from an upwardly revised 3.4% in the first quarter.
