Lithuania’s current account surplus widened to EUR 475.86 million in June from a downwardly revised EUR 416.30 million in the same month of the previous year.
This marked the highest surplus since December 2020, mainly influenced by a narrowing goods account deficit to EUR 362.22 million from EUR 441.45 million in June 2024, while the secondary income account recorded a surplus of EUR 34.86 million, shifting from a shortfall of EUR 1.38 million.
Meanwhile, the services account surplus decreased to EUR 905.55 million from EUR 960.79 million a year earlier, while the primary income shortfall increased, reaching EUR 102.33 compared to EUR 101.66 million.
