Jordan Industrial Output Rebounds in July

Industrial output in Jordan grew 1.2% year-on-year in July 2026, recovering from a 1.3% drop in the previous month, which was the steepest decline since June 2024.
The rebound was boosted by a recovery in manufacturing output, which expanded 2.0%, rebounding from a 1.1% decline in June.
Meanwhile, air-conditioning supply edged up (0.02% vs 0.7%), while mining and quarrying output continued to fall (-9.8% vs -6.7%).
In the first seven months of the year, industrial production grew 0.2%, boosted by rises in manufacturing (0.3%) and electricity (1.9%), while mining declined 2.0%.
On a monthly basis, industrial production rose 4.6%, rebounding sharply from a 0.5% fall in June.
