Inflation is expected to rise gradually to 1.4% in 2026, though geopolitical tensions could push prices higher. Economic growth reached 6.7% in 2025, supported by agriculture, services, extractive, and manufacturing sectors, with real GDP projected to expand 6.4% in 2026. Credit to the economy rose 5.6% in 2025, while external trade strengthened through higher exports of petroleum, gold, and cocoa.
