Greece Producer Deflation Steepest in 14 Months

Producer prices in Greece fell by 2.1% year-on-year in December 2025, reversing a 0.1% rise in the previous month.
It marked the steepest producer deflation since October 2024, as prices continued to fall sharply for energy (-7.7% vs -2.3% in November) and slightly slowed for non-durable consumer goods (1.7% vs 1.8%).
On the other hand, prices increased at a faster pace for intermediate goods (3.5% vs 2.5%), capital goods (1.8% vs 1.3%), and durable consumer goods (1.4% vs 0.9%).
On a monthly basis, producer prices fell 1.7%, reversing a 1.8% increase in November 2025.
