Greek Credit Growth Slows to Lowest Pace in a Year

Total credit to the Greek economy increased 5.0% year-on-year to €203.05 billion in November 2025, down from a 5.4% rise in October, the slowest growth since November 2024.
Credit to the private sector eased to a 7.2% gain, reaching €126.45 billion, compared with 7.8% in October.
Meanwhile, lending to the general government rose 1.4% to €76.60 billion, slightly below the 1.5% increase recorded the previous month.
