The trade deficit in Greece shrank to EUR 2.8 billion in November 2025 from the revised EUR 3.3 billion in the corresponding month last year, as exports increased slightly while imports slumped.
Exports went up by 0.4% year-on-year to EUR 4.1 billion, as higher shipments to non-EU countries (+4.8%), primarily mineral fuels and lubricants, more than offset declines to the EU (-2.9%).
Conversely, imports dropped 6.6% to EUR 6.9 billion, on the back of lower purchases from both the non-EU countries (-11.4%) and the EU (-2.4%).
