Belgium’s industrial production rose 6.3% year-on-year in June 2025, rebounding from a downwardly revised 7.1% fall in the previous month.
The upturn was largely driven by a strong recovery in manufacturing output, which grew 7.8% after a 7.6% decline in May.
Meanwhile, production in mining and quarrying slipped (-1.1% vs 2.9%), while electricity, gas, stream and air-conditioning supply continued to drop (-6.3% vs -1.0%).
On a seasonally adjusted monthly basis, industrial production climbed 5.2% in June 2025, reversing a downwardly revised 2.4% decrease in the prior month.
