The annual inflation rate in Belarus slowed to 6.8% in December, the slowest pace since April 2025, easing from 7.0% in the previous month.
The moderation was driven by slower price growth in food products (9.0% vs 9.9% in November), partially offset by faster increases in non-food products (3.0% vs 2.6%) and services (8.0% vs 7.7%).
On a monthly basis, consumer prices rose 0.3%, following a 0.4% gain in November.
For the full year 2025, consumer prices climbed 6.7% year-on-year, accelerating from 5.7% in 2024.
