Belarus’ industrial production grew by 0.5% year-on-year in the first nine months of 2026, accelerating from a 0.2% increase in the January–August period.
Growth was driven by a 7.2% expansion in electricity, gas, steam, hot water and air-conditioning supply, while mining and quarrying output rose by 2.6%.
Water supply, waste management and remediation activities also recorded growth of 1.8%.
However, manufacturing output declined by 0.6%, offsetting gains in other sectors and extending its contraction streak to more than a year.
