Armenia Inflation Rate Edges Down

The annual inflation rate in Armenia edged down to 3.9% in June 2025 from 4.3% in the previous month.
Price growth moderated for food and non-alcoholic beverages (6.2% vs 7.4% in May), housing and utilities (1.2% vs 1.4%) and restaurants and hotels (2.3% vs 2.4%).
Additionally, prices slipped further for clothing and footwear (-2.0% vs -1.5%).
On the other hand, prices rose at a faster pace for alcoholic beverages and tobacco (6.2% vs 5.8%), transportation (6.0% vs 4.2%) and recreation and culture (1.2% vs 0.6%), while it remained unchanged for education (7.8%).
On a monthly basis, consumer prices fell by 1.3% in June, following a 0.3% growth in the previous month.
