Industrial production in Kyrgyzstan fell 5.8% year-on-year in September 2025, marking the first contraction in ten months and reversing from a 13.6% gain in August.
The decline was led by manufacturing, which dropped 11.5% compared with an 11.7% increase the previous month, alongside weaker output in mining and quarrying (21.6% vs 23.1%).
In contrast, production accelerated in electricity, gas, steam, and air conditioning supply (31.1% vs 18.1%) and water supply (21.3% vs 17.7%).
Considering the first nine months of the year, industrial output was 10.2% higher compared to the same period last year.
