Kazakhstan Inflation Rate Rises to 8.5% in October

The annual inflation rate in Kazakhstan rose to 8.5% in October 2024, up from an over three-year low of 8.3% in the previous month.
Inflation came in higher for paid services (14.3% vs 13.6% in September), and non-food products (7.8% vs 7.6%).
In contrast, prices grew at a slower pace for food products (4.9% vs 5.1%).
On a monthly basis, consumer prices rose 0.9%, the sharpest growth since February, and accelerating from a 0.4% increase in the preceding period.
