Kazakhstan Inflation Rate Hits Highest Level Since 2023

The annual inflation rate in Kazakhstan climbed to 11.8% in June 2025, the highest since September 2023, accelerating from 11.3% in the previous month, driven by faster price growth in food products (10.6% vs.
9.6%), alongside slight increases in paid services (16.1% vs.
16.0%) and non-food products (9.4% vs.
9.0%).
On a monthly basis, consumer prices rose by 0.8% in June, marking the slowest pace since September 2024 and easing from a 0.9% gain in May.
