Producer prices in Jordan increased 5.27% year-on-year in June 2026, slowing from an over three-year high of 6.60% in the previous month.
Prices moderated sharply in mining and quarrying, which rose 1.50% from 17.18% in May.
At the same time, manufacturing prices eased to 5.82% from 6.41%, driven particularly by softer inflation in the manufacture of coke and refined petroleum products, rubber and plastic products, and fabricated metal products, except machinery and equipment.
Costs also edged down in electricity, gas, steam, and air conditioning supply (0.52% vs 0.55%).
On a monthly basis, producer prices fell 1.15% in June, reversing from a 0.58% gain in the previous month.
