Industrial output in Jordan grew by 1.19% year on year in October 2025, recovering from a 0.80% contraction in the previous month.
The rebound was driven by a recovery in the mining and quarrying sector (3.36% vs -0.87% in September) and a faster rise in electricity production (4.0% vs 3.24%).
Meanwhile, manufacturing activity moderated (0.87% vs 1.45%).
For the first ten months of 2025, industrial output rose by 1.44% compared with the same period a year earlier.
However, on a monthly basis, industrial production fell by 1.41%, following a 3.58% drop in September, reflecting short-term fluctuations across key sectors.
Since the August figures, the index has been calculated using a new reference year, with 2018 set as the base (2018 = 100), replacing the previous 2010 baseline.
