Georgia Producer Inflation Eases Further in July

Producer prices in Georgia rose 5.1% year-on-year in July 2026, easing from 5.9% in June and marking the slowest annual increase since September 2025.
The moderation reflected slower price growth in mining and quarrying (14.4% vs 15.3% in June), while manufacturing inflation was unchanged at 5.2%.
Within manufacturing, price growth slowed for chemicals and chemical products (15.4% vs 19.1%) and coke and refined petroleum products (6.0% vs 18.5%), while food products (6.6% vs 5.8%) and basic metals (11.0% vs. 10.6%) recorded faster increases.
Moreover, prices for electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning supply fell (-1.7% vs 4.4%), while inflation for water supply, sewerage, waste management and remediation services slowed (5.7% vs 6.7%).
On a monthly basis, producer prices fell 0.7% in July, following a 0.8% decline in June.
