Fiji’s annual inflation accelerated to 9.0% in October 2026 from 6.8% in the previous month, marking the highest inflation rate since October 2011.

Education inflation was steady at 0.4%.
On a monthly basis, the CPI increased 1.9% in October, rebounding sharply from a 0.4% drop in September and marking the first monthly increase in four months.
