Belgium’s annual inflation eased slightly to 1.91% in August 2025 from 1.92% in the previous month, marking its lowest level since January 2024.

Meanwhile, deeper deflation was recorded in clothing and footwear (-3.13% vs -2.96%).
In contrast, prices rebounded in transportation (0.83% vs -0.35%).
On a monthly basis, consumer prices fell by 0.01% in August, reversing the previous month’s 0.49% rise.
