Azerbaijan GDP Grows 1.5% in January-June

Azerbaijan’s economy grew by 1.5% year-on-year in the first half of 2025, maintaining the same pace as in January–May, but slowing from a 4.3% rise in the same period last year.

The non-oil and gas sector grew by 3.9%, while the oil and gas sector contracted by 3.1%.

On the production side, the main contributors to GDP growth were industry (34.9%), trade and vehicle repair (10.2%), transportation and warehousing (7%), and construction (6.3%).
