Azerbaijan GDP Growth Accelerates in January-September 2024

Azerbaijan's economy expanded by 4.7% year-on-year in January-September 2024, accelerating from a 4.3% growth in January-August and a 0.8% rise in the same period of 2023.

The non-oil & gas sector surged by 7.1% from a year ago, while the oil & gas sector edged up by 0.9%.

For the production side, the strongest contributions came from industry (37.1%), retail trade (9.6%), transport (7%) and agriculture (6.4%).
