The S&P Global Thailand Manufacturing PMI jumped to 56.6 in October 2025, from 54.6 in the previous month.
It marked the sixth consecutive month of expansion and the highest level since May 2023, driven by the fastest increase in new orders in two and a half years, supported by effective business development efforts and stronger client demand.
In response, output growth accelerated for the seventh straight month, while manufacturers expanded their workforce for the second consecutive month to manage rising workloads.
On the cost front, input prices stabilized following three months of decline.
Consequently, selling prices remained largely unchanged at the start of the final quarter.
Finally, business sentiment strengthened markedly to its highest level in two and a half years, as Thai manufacturers grew increasingly optimistic about expansion plans and improving economic conditions expected to support stronger sales in the year ahead.
