The annual inflation rate in Jordan eased to 1.28% in November 2025, the lowest since October 2024, slowing from 2.0% in the previous month.
The moderation was largely driven by falling prices for food and non-alcoholic beverages (-0.19% versus 1.3% in October) and slower price growth across key sectors including housing (2.60% vs 2.65%), transportation (0.04% vs 1.99%), clothing and footwear (1.42% vs 1.83%), communication (2.48% vs 2.51%) and health (0.32% vs 0.36%).
Conversely, prices rose more quickly in household furnishings and equipment (1.17% vs 0.91%) and culture and recreation (1.31% vs 0.51%).
On a monthly basis, consumer prices fell 0.31% in November, reversing a modest 0.07% gain in October.
