The annual inflation rate in Jordan eased to 1.64% in March 2025, the lowest in four months, compared to 2.1% in February.
Prices increased mostly for personal effects (20.51%), tobacco and cigarettes (12.56%), spices (5.43%), recreation and culture (5.27%) and tea, coffee and cocoa (4.58%).
However, the overall increase was partially offset by cost for vegetables, household supplies and eggs and dairy.
On a monthly basis, CPI edged down slightly to 0.06% in March 2025 from 0.1% in the previous month.
