Georgia Producer Prices at Over 1-Year Low

Producer prices in Georgia rose by 5.1% year-on-year in April 2025, slowing from a 5.5% increase in the previous month.
This marked the lowest producer inflation since March 2024, as prices moderated for mining and quarrying (15.0% vs 22.3% in March), manufacturing (3.8% vs 4.3%), and water supply, sewerage, waste management, and remediation services (0.7% vs 1.8%).
Meanwhile, costs increased at a faster pace for electricity, gas, steam, and air-conditioning supply (10.1% vs 6.6%).
On a monthly basis, producer prices increased by 0.4% in April, easing from a 0.7% gain in the previous month.
