Botswana's top import partners were: South Africa (64.8 percent of total imports), Namibia (10.4 percent), Canada (5.9 percent) and India (4.3 percent). Considering full 2016, Botswana recorded a trade surplus of BWP 13,477.6 million compared with BWP 9,705.7 million a year earlier.
