Angola’s annual inflation rate fell further to 13.35% in February 2026, the lowest since July 2023, from 14.56% January, helped by the ongoing stability of the kwanza.
Price-growth moderated across several categories, primarily food & non-alcoholic beverages (13.55% vs 14.89% in January); alcoholic beverages & tobacco (12.27% vs 13.67%); clothing & footwear (11.61% vs 13%); health (14.24% vs 15.92%) and transportation (18.66% vs 19.07%).
On a monthly basis, consumer prices rose by 0.52%, after a 0.68% increase in the previous month.
