Belarus Inflation Rate Edges Up

Annual inflation rate in Belarus edged up to 5.7% in May 2024 from 5.6% in each of the previous three months.
Consumer prices increased faster for services (7.1% vs 6.9% in April) but inflation steadied for food (at 6.2%), while the cost for non-food goods eased slightly (3.5% vs 3.9%).
From the previous month, the CPI edged up 0.1%.
