Kosovo’s annual inflation rate remained steady at 4.3% in July 2025, unchanged from the previous month and remaining at its highest level since May 2023.
Price pressures intensified in food and non-alcoholic beverages (9.2% vs.
8.8% in June), recreation and culture (3.5% vs.
2.5%), and restaurants and hotels (7.9% vs.
7.5%).
However, these gains were partially offset by continued declines in transport prices (-3.3% vs.
-2.3%), along with slower price increases in furnishings and household maintenance (3.2% vs.
3.6%), housing and utilities (4.5% vs.
4.9%), clothing and shoes (2.5% vs.
2.9%), alcohol and tobacco (4.2% vs.
4.4%), and education (3.5% vs.
3.7%).
On a monthly basis, consumer prices edged up 0.2% in July, slowing from a 0.7% increase in June.
