Kosovo Inflation Hits 2-Year High in June

Kosovo’s annual inflation rate accelerated to 4.3% in June 2025 from 3.6% in the previous month, marking the highest level since May 2023.
The uptick was driven by stronger price growth in food and non-alcoholic beverages (8.8% vs.
8.2%), furnishings and household maintenance (3.6% vs.
2.6%), housing and utilities (4.9% vs.
2.7%), alcohol and tobacco (4.4% vs.
4.0%), recreation and culture (2.5% vs.
1.6%), and restaurants and hotels (7.5% vs.
6.5%), alongside a more moderate drop in transport prices (-2.3% vs -3.1%).
However, inflation eased slightly in health (5.2% vs.
5.3%) and miscellaneous goods and services (3.6% vs.
3.8%).
On a monthly basis, consumer prices rose 0.7% in June, following a 0.3% increase in May.
