Dominican Republic Inflation Rate Rises to 3-Month High

The annual inflation rate in the Dominican Republic accelerated to 3.71% in August 2025 from 3.40% in the previous month.
This marked the highest reading since May, as prices advanced faster for food and non-alcoholic beverages (3.99% vs 3.14% in July), transportation (2.94% vs 2.27%), and housing utilities (2.65% vs 2.59%).
On a monthly basis, consumer prices rose 0.71% in August, from 0.38% in July.
