Also, visitors from America soared 4,569.7 percent, mainly the US (5,559.7 percent); while those from Europe jumped 2,239.4 percent), of which, Russia (725.6 percent), the UK (3,915.7 percent), France (3,998.6 percent), and Germany (3,851.3 percent); and visitors from Australia climbed 6,479.8 percent. Vietnam Tourist Arrivals Soar Sharply
International arrivals to Vietnam jumped by 420.6 percent year-on-year to 101.4 thousand in April of 2022, compared with a 115 percent growth in the prior month. April's strong figure remained supported by a new tourism campaign launched by the government at the end of last year following accelerated vaccinations and easing COVID-19 curbs. Visitors from Asia climbed 240.7 percent, namely South Korea (272.4 percent), Japan (319.1 percent), Taiwan (172.2 percent), and Malaysia (2,011.8 percent). Also, visitors from America soared 3,453.1 percent, mainly the US (4,786.5 percent); while those from Europe jumped 1,512.8 percent), of which, Russia (544.9 percent), the UK (3,116.5 percent), France (2,662.5 percent), and Germany (3,093 percent); and visitors from Australia climbed 5,242.1 percent. Considering the first four months of the year, arrivals surged 184.7 percent to 1.92 million.

International arrivals to Vietnam grew by 115 percent year-on-year to 41.74 thousand in March of 2022, compared with a 170 percent surge in the prior month. March's strong figure was supported by a new tourism campaign launched by the government at the end of last year following accelerated vaccinations and easing COVID-19 curbs. Visitors from Asia increased 44.6 percent, namely South Korea (39.7 percent), Japan (138.9 percent), and Taiwan (82 percent. Also, visitors from America soared 1,907.5 percent, mainly the US (2,361.7 percent); while those from Europe jumped 508.5 percent), of which, Russia (771.4 percent), the UK (664.6 percent), France (709.4 percent), and Germany (1,373.9 percent); and visitors from Australia climbed 2,772.9 percent. Considering the first three months of the year, arrivals surged 89.1 percent to 909.8 thousand. In 2021, tourist arrivals plunged 95.9 percent to 157.27 thousand.
