It was the largest gain in retail trade since January, mainly driven by higher sales of automotive fuel (91.9 percent). Also, sales rose for non-food products (13.5 percent) while it declined for food products (-2.3 percent). Slovenia Retail Trade Growth Slows in February
Retail trade in Slovenia advanced 21.7 percent year-on-year in February of 2022, following a downwardly revised 32 percent surge in the previous month. Sales increased for automotive fuels (69.4 percent) and non-food products (5.2 percent), but declined for food products (-2.5 percent). On a seasonally adjusted monthly basis, retail trade grew 8 percent, compared with an upwardly revised 6.9 percent slump in January.
