Retail trade in Slovenia advanced 25.1 percent year-on-year in May of 2022, easing from a 29.5 percent surge in the previous month. It was the smallest gain in retail trade since February, amid a slowdown in sales of automotive fuel (75.2 percent vs 91.9 percent in April) and non-food products (10.3 percent vs 13.5 percent). Meanwhile, sales declined at a softer pace for food products (-0.3 percent vs -2.3 percent).
