Slovenia Producer Inflation Hits Fresh High
Producer prices in Slovenia surged by 20.4 percent year-on-year in April of 2022, up from a 17.9 percent jump in the previous month. It was the highest producer price inflation since records began, amid widespread increases across categories, namely electricity supply (77.6 percent vs 68.5 percent in March); manufacturing (18.4 percent vs 16.1 percent); mining (12.8 percent vs 7.7 percent) and water supply (4.1 percent, the same pace as in March). On a monthly basis, producer prices increased by 2.8 percent, following a 1.3 percent rise in the previous month.

Producer prices in Slovenia climbed by 17.9 percent year-on-year in March of 2022, up from a 16.5 rise increase in the previous month. It was the highest producer price inflation since records began, underpinned by prices of electricity supply (68.5 percent); manufacturing (16.1 percent); mining (7.7 percent) and water supply (4.1 percent). On a monthly basis, producer prices increased by 1.3 percent, following a 4.4 percent rise in the previous month.

Slovenia Producer Inflation at New All-Time High
Producer prices in Slovenia advanced 16.5 percent year-on-year in February of 2022, quickening from a 12.3 percent increase in the previous month. It was the highest producer price inflation since records began, mainly driven by prices of utilities (73 percent vs 8.9 percent in January); manufacturing (14.5 percent vs 12.5 percent); and water supply (3.5 percent vs 3.3 percent). Meanwhile, prices eased for mining & quarrying (7.3 percent vs 8.4 percent). On a monthly basis, producer prices rose by 4.4 percent, following a 2.2 percent rise in the previous month.
