Shenandoah Telecommunications Company (Shentel) is a provider of diversified communications services through its cable, fiber optic and fixed wireless networks to customers in the Mid-Atlantic United States. Shentel’s services include: broadband Internet, video, and digital voice; fiber optic Ethernet, wavelength and leasing; and tower colocation leasing. Shentel's segments are Broadband and Tower. The Broadband segment provides broadband Internet, video and voice services to residential and commercial customers in portions of Virginia, West Virginia, Maryland, Pennsylvania, and Kentucky, through hybrid fiber coaxial cable under the brand name of Shentel, fiber optic services under the brand name of Glo Fiber and fixed wireless network services under the brand name of Beam. The Tower segment owns approximately 223 cell towers and leases colocation space on the towers to wireless communications providers. Its towers are built on ground that Shentel lease from the respective landlords.
