The annual inflation rate in Seychelles eased for the seventh straight month to 2.1% in May of 2022, from 2.2% in the previous month. It was the lowest reading since October of 2020, amid a slowdown in costs of non-food products (2.3% vs 2.6% in April). Meanwhile, prices climbed further for fresh fish (10% vs 8.9%) while those of other food products rebounded slightly (0.2% vs -0.8%).
