Romania Current Account Gap Widens in November
Romania's current account deficit widened to EUR 1.51 billion in November of 2021, from EUR 1.23 billion in the same month last year as goods deficit rose to EUR 1.31 billion from EUR 1.25 billion a year ago and the services surplus shrank to EUR 0.77 billion from EUR 0.81 billion. Meanwhile, the primary income gap decreased to EUR 0.25 billion from EUR 0.41 billion and the secondary income surplus rose to EUR 0.06 billion from EUR 0.43 billion.

Romania Current Account Gap Widens in October
Romania's current account deficit widened to EUR 1.74 billion in October of 2021, from EUR 0.93 billion in the same month last year as goods deficit rose to EUR 2.36 billion from EUR 1.76 billion a year ago and the services surplus shrank to EUR 0.79 billion from EUR 0.90 billion. At the same time, the secondary income surplus fell to EUR 0.04 billion from EUR 0.38 billion whereas the primary income gap decreased to EUR 0.22 billion from EUR 0.44 billion.

Romania Current Account Gap Widens in September
Romania's current account deficit widened to EUR 1.65 billion in September of 2021, from EUR 1.29 billion in the same month last year. It was the largest current account deficit for a September month since 2008, as the goods gap expanded to EUR 2.09 billion from EUR 1.57 billion a year earlier and the services surplus narrowed to EUR 0.75 billion from EUR 0.91 billion. Meanwhile, the primary income deficit shrank by half to EUR 0.35 billion and the secondary income surplus narrowed to EUR 0.38 billion from EUR 0.66 billion.
